True Nudists Suspended?

As of Friday November 26 at 5:45 PM ET, truenudists.com has been suspended. Anyone know if this is temporary or permanent?

UPDATE: It's back online now. Maybe they forgot to pay the electric bill.

Name and Shame

Skinbook has launched a "Name and Shame" blog in order to expose the "perverts, fakers and sex pests" who try and join the social network for nudists and naturists.

This is one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. I'm not even going to provide a link.

Not only does the blog violate just about every privacy issue possible by naming names with email and physical addresses, it actually offers to remove the names and photos in exchange for an apology. That's the definition of blackmail.

Take down your Name and Shame blog, Skinbook. Screening and filtering charlatans is enough; exposing them in this manner could potentially be criminal.

Will Skinbook be the Game Changer?

The nudist social network Skinbook has made the news.

And for some, the site has been more therapeutic than the usual sheep-throwing antics on Facebook.

'We've had lots of thank you messages. For some people, talking with like-minded people about nudism is like coming out and saying you are gay,' added (co-creator) Mr Maddocks.

Ultimately the future of nudism and naturism might not be in national organizations, but when all the nudists out there suddenly decide that they are no longer ashamed of their lifestyle. If you are a member of Skinbook, you can look me up as "nudiarist".
